Babies may be little, but their stuff sure can take up a lot of space! That’s why I knew that the small closet in our nursery was going to need some upgrading in order to be functional both now, and in the future.

Brilliant Angela! First of all changing out the doors is epic…makes such a difference right there! I do not like sliding doors, so wasteful. Great tips and great post.

We switch the girls to elfa systems about 2 years ago. But took the doors off and made curtains instead because their closest are right by the door and we got them bed systems with a dresser right by the door too. It was just too crowded there.

I love this organizing technique. We have a dresser instead of a changing table. what would you suggest putting in the dresser vs what goes in the closet?

We had the same – a dresser rather than a changing table, with just a changing pad/tray on top. I kept all of the clothes in the closet, and other things in the dresser. I used the top drawer for diapers, wipes, cream, etc. and the other two drawers for crib sheets, changing pad covers, blankets, burp cloths, etc.
