{link party} The Creative Circle – Week 33

Welcome to The Creative Circle link party – a place to share and find inspiration for your home!  Kathy and I are excited this week to be introducing two new co-hosts of The Creative Circle! Deb from Seeking Lavender Lane and LZ from The Summery Umbrella have joined us and we are thrilled to be growing the party and finding new ways to make it better benefit YOU! You can learn more about Deb and LZ below, and be sure to follow them using the provided social media links!
In addition to these lovely new hosts, we are making some other changes in an effort to optimize your features for maximum exposure! Instead of each co-host picking three of her own features each week, we will collectively be selecting four features each week that will be shared by every co-host. That means that when you are featured, we’ll be promoting you across all four of our blogs an our social media channels!

Outside the Box Decorating Ideas

Outdoor pots and planters can be expensive – especially really large ones – but Christine from Little Brags came up with a creative cost saving solution by thinking outside of the box! Her garbage can planters look perfect on her patio, and she has a fantastic tip to save on potting soil and keep planters from getting too heavy!

Chloe of Celebrate & Decorate is in the midst of designing her coastal style home, but she took us on a tour of her modern condo in Ohio, and she has certainly mastered that style as well! The entire home tour is a must see, with so many gorgeous details, but we especially love her outside the box thinking to fill this awkward niche with bowling pins!
When a friend picked up a tired, old, left-by-the-side-of-the-road fridge, she knew that Kellie of Design Asylum would find a way to give it new life. And she sure did! Rather than seeing it as a white fridge, Kellie saw it as a blank canvas and created a masterpiece. She shares a detailed tutorial on how to tape and paint a fridge, in case you have any blank canvases of your own.

Lucy, of Patina Paradise, was challenged to come up with a furniture makeover that was somehow animal themed – and that alone requires some outside the box thining. She decided to give an old table a hand painted leopard print finish, and shares a great, step by step tutorial along with some other helpful tips!
