Thanksgiving Front Porch Decor

I love Thanksgiving, but it’s a holiday that I have often skipped over when it comes to decorating because it gets so crunched between taking down the Halloween decorations and getting ready for Christmas. But this year, I’ve decided to give Thanksgiving its own moment! Today I’m talking about our welcoming front porch decor, but you might also want to check out this quick Thanksgiving table setting hack, and my finished Thanksgiving table decor.
Thanksgiving Front Door Banner Wreaths
I partnered with my friends over at Cost Plus World Market to create this cozy and welcoming front porch for Thanksgiving that blends seamlessly with the modern architecture of our home. What I love most about this design, however, is that it really is perfect for the entire fall season with just the Happy Thanksgiving banner being added after Halloween.
The tall, thin configuration of our porch has sometimes left me stumped when it comes to decorating for the seasons. We would bring home pumpkins from the pumpkin patch and they would look dwarfed by the two-story height of the porch. Over time, I’ve learned to get creative and find ways to add height and interest to our porch decor without making the space feel too crowded.
This porch decor is all about layers and a few unexpected elements that make the space extra warm and cozy for fall. Check out all the details of my “Naturally Modern” Thanksgiving front porch over on the World Market blog!
