Remembering a cool idea that I had seen at a conference I attended back in the spring, I realized that a set of clear glass plates and some scrapbook paper was all I needed to create a new look for our table season after season.
I cut along the pencil line, and then used that circle as a template to trace and cut more circles from the coordinating papers.

What a great idea! I always get sucked in by pretty salad plates but I so don't need anymore. I do however already have plain glass ones on hand 🙂

No glue? No glue dots? When you pick up the salad plate the paper will be sitting on the other plate?

Yep! Super easy to move the paper to side after the salad course so that it can be used again. You could attach the paper with double sided tape, but then you'd have to tear it off to wash the plates and that paper couldn't be reused.
