{link party} The Creative Circle – Week 25

  • Facebook
  • Twitter
Welcome to The Creative Circle link party – a place to share and find inspiration for your home! Kathy and I so appreciate you coming to party with us each week, and we love visiting your blogs to see your latest creations.
This week, Kathy and I are excited to have a the lovely Deb, from Seeking Lavender Lane as our guest host for The Creative Circle. I had the pleasure of meeting Deb {although too briefly} at the Haven Conference in Atlanta this past weekend, and she could not be sweeter! Be sure to read more about Deb below!
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a thing for typography. I love any kind of decor with letters or words on it, and the bolder the better! This week, all three of my featured picks are examples of the ways that you can use typography in every style of decor. You’ll find the details of my featured picks below, but be sure to also hop over to Kathy’s blog to see which projects she featured this week.

Bloggers, show us what you’ve got! We are eager to share your DIY, decor and design projects! Our favorites will be showcased at next week’s party, via our social media platforms and pinned to numerous Pinterest group boards and to a special board for maximum exposure.

AND THIS WEEK’S GUEST HOST:
Deb @ Seeking Lavender Lane | Facebook | Pinterest | Instagram | Twitter | Google+
Before we get to what Kathy and I have been up to, I want to tell you more about this week’s guest host, Deb of Seeking Lavender Lane. Deb and her husband bought their New Jersey home two years ago, and what they’ve done to transform it in that short time is nothing short of amazing!
I wanted to showcase a couple of Deb’s amazing projects to show you how talented she is, but honestly, I think visiting her home tour is the BEST way to get to know her because you immediately get a sense off her style and you’ll get a glimpse of her design prowess and all of her DIY handiwork. So here are just two quick peeks into Deb’s world – but please take a few minutes to visit her blog to enjoy more of her gorgeous home, and be sure to welcome her to The Creative Circle!

5 Blogging Resources I Can’t Live Without |Stencil Craft (book review and giveaways) – Tropical Leaf Art

Steph, of Crafting in the Rain, made these giant XO marquee letters for a wedding, and they are just gorgeous. I’ve had my own giant marquee letter fail, and let me just say that Steph’s way of making them is way better than mine, and I’ll definitely be using her tutorial in the future!

Cathy, of Vintage Paint and More, joined a group of bloggers, each with the goal of creating a unique piece of wall art, and the thumbtack monogram that she came up with is just awesome! I mean, first of all, it’s a monogram, so I was bound to love it, but the thumbtacks also add a texture that makes this project extra cool!

Sam, at Raggedy Bits, covered tin cans in antique seed printables for a great vintage look. Although I’m generally drawn to a more modern aesthetic, I love the typography style of old newspapers, advertisements and packaging, so these cans turned vases totally won me over!
