You had mentioned wanting a new side table by the couch, and a new rug in front of the chairs by the kitchen. I like these acrylic nesting tables because they don’t take up any visual space. You can keep the tables together most of the time,
but can separate them out if you need more table space when entertaining.

The rug is in the same color tones as your current rug, but a bit more graphic. The grays in the rug would look good with the color of your couch, and the teal matches the chairs. Alternatively, this rug would also look good in the dining room.

These colors would coordinate well with the existing colors in your family room. Either sideboard option would look good with the rug and art. The one on the left has a more mid-century vibe, and the sliding door is actually a dark teal/color. The sideboard on the right is much more industrial, and reminds me of some of the pieces you’ve picked for the guest rooms.

The multicolored drawers on this credenza make it really interesting. Drawing on the yellow/gold for the art would help to give the dining room it’s own look, separate and apart from the family room, but the teal in the rug would still tie in with your family room. The beige tones would look good with the color of your chairs. You could choose one large piece of art above the credenza, or two side by side. Other coordinating art pieces could also be used elsewhere in the room.

Pink is one color you don’t currently have in your house, so it’s an interesting alternative, but mixing it with the dark blues keeps it from being overly feminine. The navy buffet on the left would look good with either rug option if you prefer it to the mid-century credenza on the right. Again, you could choose one piece of art or pair two together above a buffet, or two pieces could hang on opposite ends of the room.

Here’s a totally different option – a very colorful credenza. I think this credenza would looks best with a monochromatic rug (like the one on the left) and a mirror above, rather than a piece of art so that it doesn’t feel too busy.

A complimentary piece of art could hang at the opposite end of the room, and we could choose the color of that art to pull out whichever color in the credenza you like best.

The rug on the right would also look good with the credenza because you would just see little bits of color here and there around the dining room table.
