Decorating with a Reusable Fabric Chalkboard Banner

A while back, my mom made me a chalkboard fabric banner, and it has quickly become one of my favorite quick and easy ways to decorate for every holiday and occasion.
If you’ve been following my blog for a while, then you’ve probably seen this banner show up in quite a few different posts, including, most recently, in our backyard for the 4th of July along side my DIY Stars and Stripes candle holders!

I love these chalkboard fabric pennants for many reasons – because they are reusable and versatile, because I can string together as many or as few as I want to for each banner, and most of all, because it takes just a few minutes to write on them and hang them up before any celebration!
Recently, my mom showed me how easy these pennants are to make {only the most basic sewing skills are required}, and you can now read the simple tutorial here.
